definitely use your OK yak. I use a malibu mini x but its a little small for the inlet and sound as I bought it mainly for surf launching but its still an awesome yak. As for tackle, I primarily fly fish but also like to take along my lite action spin rod with a bottom rig and squid to drift for flounder. my best advice would be to wear a brightly colored life vest or have a bright colored yak. also, don't forget your maps or gps if you venture out into the areas with lots of grasses because you can lose your way in there really quickly.
