Duck Pier is owned by the U.S. Gov.No fishing fishing off it.They do wave and surf studies from it.You can walk up to it and fish from the surf from about a 1/4 mile on each side.No direct pier access from the road.The grounds around it are an old Navy bombing range and they claim some are unexploded.They do have a tour that starts at 10 am Mon -Fri. mid June thru mid Aug.that is pretty good.But even on the tour they do not let you on the pier.
