Seems like you have the right gear.You will have some fun with the 7'.Throw some Kastmasters or leadhead grubs early on a high tide if you can.Or fish it with some fresh shrimp and a two hook bottem rig with some very small hooks right in the wash for Pampano.Beach should be clearing out a bit by the 22.Hook thouse 10' with a fishfinder or bluefish rig and some fresh mullet.Don't cast a mile you have to get into the deepest water between the shore and the outer bar.You can see the outer bar where the waves break about 100 yards offshore.Casting too far just gets you into shallower water.If you can find a break in the outer bar fish it.But don't let your kids swim there most likley a riptide there.
