Also from Central PA. Hanover. Will be there in Duck Aug. 8-15.Beaches will be crowded. Only good fishing early or late in the day.Sound up that way is mostly fresh water.Sound is good for crabing, not so much for fishing, very shallow a long way out. Though I have caught some nice catfish in my crab traps.Bobs Tackle is pretty good, though they might try to BS. you if you seem clueless about fishing.If you ask the right questions, they will give you the right answers. As for Charters, call Cato (his info is all over the website)or try Oregon Inlet.Also I think Pirates Cove has a nice offshore type headboat.Probably best to avoid the tackle shop make up charters.
