I haven't heard a reliable report from Corolla for a while , so I have no idea what might be biting up that way.

As for bait you can always use several different things. Squid , shrimp , mole crabs , cut bait , real or imitation bloodworms are all good choices. Just use fresh not frozen bait. You can catch your own mole crabs by standing at the waters edge and looking for little " V " shapes in the sand when the waves go out , that's where they'll be buried and I guess it's their antennae that makes the " V ".

My personal favorite is always cut bait. You can catch a small spot or blue , scale and fillet it and cut the fillets into chunks to use for bait. Menhaden make good cut bait too.
