Try small fresh shrimp pieces, with very small gold wire hooks right in the wash for the Pomps.Accually they will run up the beach past the wash.Caught them in 5-6" of water with only about of 8' of line out, use the small
1 oz. silver dollar type sinkers.Hit the pier for lunch or breakfast. Always take the trip down from Duck to eat there at least once each trip.One of the few old time pleasures left.Make sure you sit out back on the porch.
