In Response To: recommendations for a first time boat buyer (Bradley Wells)

If I was you I would go with a used 18' Maycraft & a 90 horse Suzuki.I've rode on ALOT of outboards and a Maycraft is a nice dry boat and the Suzuki 90 is a good motor.
I have a 18' Downeaster and it is a piece of crap.
I have a 90 Suzuki on it and am very pleased with it.
Alot of the local guides had Y and they Yamahas and they sucked..mechaically and warranty wise.....they would not back up the warranty as they should.
Hope all is well with you and the family
