Stupid question - Fluorescent lights

Has anybody checked or bought 48" shop lights lately?
Went to Lowe's yesterday, out of stock & don't know if they will get any back in. Checked Home Depot, Harbor Freight & tractor supply. All the same. NOTHING in stock.
Went back to Lowe's today, got bulbs for my bathroom light at $3.94 a 2 pack. Marked down from $9.58 a 2 pack.
Lowe's doesn't have any 48" tubes available.
What president eliminated Fluorescent bulbs? Was it Obama, or Trump? Can't have been Biden, too soon.
Seems like the fluorescent bulbs are going the same way as the incandescent bulb.
