the only thing I can tell u about trees on a dam is if it ain't broke don't fix it. I have a problem with my over flow which is in my dam. it is leaking around the sides. I have the clay dirt and stuff to fix it. waiting for water level to drop so I can get back hoe in there. I have a couple of redbud trees on my dam. I am removing 3 small locusts(the ones with the big thorns). I've heard all kind of stories about trees on dams. if it is not leaking, that is a good thing. good luck. and yeah i'm going to take a long break this fall. i'll try the eatin places. thanks.
