The not broken don't fix it is a good point. It uses a big black corrugated pipe on one end that goes threw the dam at the pond surface.

The other end has a washout that's made a waterfall, needs to be fixed. I unclogged the log jam to let it flush out some surface algae.

The dam is made out of some hard red clay and a spring on the other side is constantly flowing into the pond with a good flow of water.
