Mower here "fixed" according to repair shop. Not starting easy tho. Will have to do some tweaking to throttle and drive engage settings.

You say want to get most out of your mower. Have same mind set. This Capt's is 31 years old. Toro self propelled. Never in shop before neighbor messed it up while we were in LA. and son took it in w/o asking. Could have done a DIY repair.

Re: your pic of cherry tomato plant. Looks more like NC "wacky tobacky":):) Kidding aside big plant for sure.

Re: seeds of red/black sunflower. As said earlier, will send as soon as heads dry out a bit.

Re: your pet squirrel. Pains in the butt. Raided my feeder forever till made a cylindrical "rat guard" and installed on pole below the feeder. Used piece of 6" furnace duct from Home Depot. Painted flat black before installing. And no, your pic not a red squirrel. Just the run of the rodent. Here their numbers have decreased as the coyotes increase.

Re: squirrel pullin off green tomatos. Here its chipmunks doin same.

Birds here (mostly finches now in fall) eatin 7 lbs. of black oil sunflower seed every 2 days, and that's w/ only 1 hole open on the feeder. Birds dropped a few of those seeds in Mrs. Capt's flower boxes. Grew to 2' tall with 4 1/2 " heads. Will send you some of those seeds too.
