Re: Late fall trips. Conflicts w/ family doins, so usually have to opt for Sept.

Re: Capt D's. Not big here on North Coast. Sister in Knoxville swears by em.

Re: Macular degeneration. Dad had that too.

Tall red (near black) sunflowers did well for Mrs. Capt.
Will send you some seeds soon as heads dry out. Grown in only small 4" pots...on deck to keep from deer and still reached 4 ft.

Had 2 watermelons this year. Grocery stores. 1 good 1 bad.
Now like blueberries and corn up in price.

Did the post Bossier grocery shoppin this AM. Streets and stores strangely empty. Larder full again.

If'n you or regulars get down to Bossier City (across river from Shreveport) you need to take in the International Buffet at Margaritaville Casino. Awesome. Had em comped this trip.

Re: You wonderin what been goin on. Thought been postin enuf to not throw up red flags.

Current tight jaws = neighbor broke this Capt's mower while gone. No offer to pay for repair. (And yes...mowing included in Association dues but don't let them on property. Cause too much damage).
