As Capt D stated below. I use Nantes Half long seed.
What I tried 2 years ago is making raised beds out of cedar fence boards. There about 6" high by 6' long (Lowes at around $2.00 a piece). Just made raised beds out of them. Then added a couple bags of garden soil from Lowes. Mixed some of my garden soil, mulch & leaves.
At the end of last year, I just pulled the raised beds out and tilled everything into the garden & started fresh this year.
Seemed to work for me.
