Know nothing beyond that in King post later in this thread. Expect owner will string it out, waiting for the new bridge to increase property value.

Of more concern to this Capt is that new bridge proposals eliminate the sound side Rodanthe convenience store.

And...hearin comments from "visitors" some Rodanthe residences lookin shabby. Does shabby = structures not mini-motels, and no go carts, no mini-golf, no Wal Mart, no Lowes?? Some prefer the old style cottages and the laid back ambiance. Driving 12 north up to 4 wheel drive in June reviewing what was, and what its become, should be a lesson as to what devastation can be caused if the "visitor" $$ becomes paramount. OK, off the "soapbox"...subject a flash point w/ this Capt.
