Lead Melting Equipment

Lately I've been using a small Lee Production Pot casting the lead into an ingot mold to clean it up then using them. Wheel weights is a hard lead and takes awhile to melt in that pot, I skim the top and get the wheel clips out the bottom after the pour with a bent metal kitchen spoon. I lay the mold across the top of the pot to get it hot, forms good.
In the past I've used two cast iron pots with a ladle and also have used a borrowed Palmer Hot Pot Melter. I like the production pot the best, easy to pour the molds and no trouble with it. If I ever got another one it would probably be a bigger capacity size bottom pour pot like a Lee Pro Melter.
