I use that clear alcohol gel hand sanitizer like Germ-X and also the scented ones are good too like lemon if you can find them. It's suppose to kill that stuff and really helps heal the fish cuts. I don't like the smell of bleach or having white spots and holes in my clothes.

The worst I ever got was from being poked on the tip of my finger reaching into a bag of heads on bait shrimp real fast a long time ago. I'm always a lot more careful with them now since then.
