ER Dr. son here for bake yesterday. Discussed puncture wounds. No way to clean em out but bleed. (Unless you want to insert hypo and flush and medicate - just kidding:):) Topicals do nothing to offset what is inside a puncture wound, tho they may sterilize adjacent skin and prevent additional bacteria from entering. Passing along not to disagree w/ other posts but to give Dr.s viewpoint. Sure old salts won't change techniques.
