Was it more of a flat fish or slender? Could it have been a type of Bonito , Shad or Herring? I'm not real familiar with FL's regulars in March , so those are just wild guesses that are probably wrong. Shame you didn't get a picture. Silver and big eyes makes me think it's food for something , unless it's a flat fish in the " Reef Complex " category , and then I have no idea.

Re: Teasin' : Glad you have a sense of humor about it. I try really hard not to offend anyone. I just like to hear about fishing , go fishing , talk about fishing and have fun while doing it. It's nice that there are a lot of like minded people that hang out here on the Salty Board :):)
