I only live about an hour away and I have fished at the Outer Banks all my life, and YES I have many stories. Seen it all and yes I avoid much of the tourist traffic, how ever it is very funny to see someone come out with cheap rods just purchased from the Walmart and new tackle and try fishing, especially on the crowded piers during the fall fun of spot and croaker. I did get very scared my self this year while visiting the a (Not Named) pier and spots where running and some were catching them left and right and I moved in on their territory and I got threatened. I said man, all this over a fish!!! I went back to my favorite pier where I have never seen that un sportsman like behavior. Ummm Ummmm Umm Um Shame on them!!
