The circus is slowly moving south to Hatteras Island. I think it was more a don't let them get to you and have fun on your vacation.
I pick up the trash and make a clean spot myself throw it in a plastic Food Lion bag then tie close and drop in an outside trash can.
The bigger stuff like broken chairs, canopies, lumber gets put in a pile by the foot of the dune, eventually is picked up or absorbed.
If you do not pick the trash up you will be looking at the same pieces of trash the rest of that week or 2 or 3 if your staying longer.
I like to have fun with it sometimes like move an empty water bottle to the middle of the walkover path and see how long it stays there.
It's like a big pink elephant they keep stepping over for weeks until one gets tired of it, I see it as more of a point to pick up trash.
Even so does seem to keep the trash down on the beach for some reason and how about I pick a real winner in the news of the day to enjoy.
They should make being politically correct into a joke and be the Chick-fil-A of the Super Bowl, I can see that coming but doubt this is it.
M&M's 'pause' spokescandies and replaces them with Maya Rudolph as brands struggle with political shifts
