TW's in Nags Head had small size Sting Silvers in silver and black back / white, they work good on a small rod in close for bluefish.

The finger mullet are running in September and I'd use those for bait for tackle shop fresh or frozen cut in half or use the fillets.

It's a sight to see schools of finger mullet jumping in the surf with big trout boiling the surface all the way up and down the beach.

You might notice it if the ocean is calm if it's rough it scatters them. MirrOlures would be a good way to go when the ocean is calm.

The peak of hurricane season is September 10th. BTW according to the Facebook crowd this place is real good if you like fried chicken.
