I would think there would be some spanish around and probably some blues. Kastmasters are my go to lure but make sure you tie the leader right to the lure as a snap swivel will mess up the action of the lure. I usually tie 1.5-2 ft of 20-30 lb mono to the kastmaster with a barrel swivel tied to your rod. Best fishing is from labor day to nov 1. Hope you get into some.
