I've been having purple rain from the poke berries some salt around it would keep the slugs off, oil everything and use peanut butter.

My hot pepper plants are all producing so far 3 small baskets off 12, Goliath Jalapeno "hot", Anaheim "mild" and "hot" banana peppers.

Also got two Orangeglo watermelons, one was good and the other had turned brown inside. I like red better was like eating near the rind.

Did get a first fall day yesterday and was a nice break from the heat and humidity is about time for the hurricane train to start going.

Started the day to beep, beep, bang, crunch out front, one of the local sounding trucks with no exhaust and somebody's new business wagon.

That noise could be Bigfoot or some unknown monster and looks like I'm going to miss the Bigfoot Festival if it was later I'd have to go.

Still house hunting out there, what I'm looking for has been in demand had found two that went quick the realtors didn't even call back.

Probably will keep this one for awhile and see how I like it. BTW, this mousetrap could be fun I haven't tried it might get a hand here.
