One real good tip. Don't have to cast as far as you can see. Sometimes the flounder,sea mullet & pomps are right close to your feet. Learn to read the surf, look for outtakes (suds going out)from the surf & cast on both sides.
Were down in mid May on the bayside in Colington & Oceanside in late Sept. in S. Nags Head.
Enjoy the week, hope you catch a lot of fish. The water temps seem to be coming up.
