Hi Jon,
Don't know what fishing gear you have? If nothing, stop at Walmart & get a surf fishing rod & reel combo (8 ft.). Probably cost you around $40.00. You can stop at TW's bait & tackle to get what you need to. Mile post 4.
You'll probably need some top & bottom rigs, sinkers & bait. Try using mullet or squid.
You weren't specific on where you staying or what you wanted to fish for.
