Have a great time, be careful and safe. I've been hearing a lot of road rage on the 158 bypass with the horns both cars and tractor trailers. I usually try to use the beach road rather than the racetrack. I wished Kitty Hawk would put a bicycle path beside the beach road or extend the shoulders more.

I know you said you liked looking for a good deal on used books. You might want to check out the GCF Donation Center & Store it's like the first shop on the shoot through to 158 at the end of the beach road in Kitty Hawk, go straight across at the stoplight. It's mostly like a warehouse of used clothes hanging on racks in the middle but has some used books / dvds and a lot of everything else around the walls like kitchen, Christmas, electronics, furniture and framed pictures.
