Kitty Hawk Bay was really hot the week before last. Specks everywhere with lots of just undersized Puppies. From what I heard the Specks were there to get ready for the spawn. Don't know how long they will be there.Really strange the fish were in shallow water 2-3 ft. Not in the channel. Lots of Puppies swirling in a foot or two of water feeding just off the shore reeds.Used red and orange jig heads (Ya make fun of the orange) with white gulp tails.Everone on the boat made fun of my orange til I caught the first few fish.
