You might want to try the slough at Bodie Island Light. Turn into the lighthouse road and drive back to the gate before you get to the lighthouse. It is a fairly long walk down the gravel road. But have caught some impressive fish there. Watch for snakes and even a stray gator or two has shown up there.Might be to cold for them now. But just keep a watch.Tight Lines. PS probably need some good neoprene waders to fish it.
