Thanks for the report Captain! Always good to know that somebody is catching something.

Those shad are fun to catch , and the roe is delicious if you find any full of eggs. I'm not sure what the regs are for shad down your way , but I used to have a friend bring me some from down around Richmond during the spring runs on the James. I always liked it fried with a few scrambled eggs and lots of pepper. Like having caviar for breakfast!
