I 've trapped beavers for 20 + yrs. You go on a full moon with a 22 mag and set up near drain or dam and wack them until all gone. Best recipe around. They are good to eat also, but make sure to get sent glands out of them. A good trapper can help you with under water trapes guaranteed not to catch dogs.
