I was wondering what happend. Having fruit fly trouble isn't bad, some have had trouble with the VW size outside roaches, a.k.a. the american cockroach, water bug, palmetto bug. Just so you'll know the fly swatter is the best way to go if one gets inside and you have to hit them just right, hit them too hard they explode splattering bug snot everywhere. Home Depot has a tube of gel bait by Combat that works good.

As far as I know that's not true about the dogs. The town beaches inside Cape Hatteras National Seashore belong to and are controlled by the park service so there is a year round 6 foot leash law for dogs. Outside the park north of Oregon Inlet there's different rules for dogs on the beach in each town.
