The Border Station is a good stop along the way. Another place more of a hole in the wall I like is the BP gas station in Coinjock on the east side of the road just north of the high bridge over the canal. It has a little deli inside there.

BJ's and Sauls are other places where you can stop and eat or what I do is get a meal to go. They have good BBQ, Sauls sauce looks like pee in a cup. I like the fried chicken livers if they have it. The British lady that makes the desserts at Sauls used to live by me at the beach when I was a kid.

Also another place is Frog Island Seafood, they cook seafood lunch and dinners.
