Hey Terry,

Thanks for the information. This will be my thrid year in Duck - the last two years we did well in the sound for Crabs but didn't even catch a single fish from the sound. I did happen to catch an alligator snapper and released him! Man was that thing ugly!

I've fished the surf both years as well and caught one puppy drum and a half dozen small blues. My fishing time was whenever the family was on the beach so I'm guessing it wasn't the best time to be out. I hope this year to make it on the beach before sunrise and also fish into the evening. Guess my focus will be on the surf and not the sound.

ps - I am from Pa - Lancaster County to be exact.
