You Don't say if you have an ORV. If you do, check on beach closings before you go. I have been up and down the OBX and the best action is usually at or near cape point.There is a campground at the cape. Red Drum Bait and Tackle is right near the park entrance. Check around for fresh menhaden, best cut bait for night fishing Drum and Stripers. I lived on the Teaxas coast for a few years, you will need heavier rod and reel and weights up to 8oz or more to hold bottom. Use a fishfinder rig, which can be bought locally. Good luck.
