Mid-April the blues show up. Late April early May the Spaniards are here and the Sea Mullet start in late April also. Late May can yield some nice flounder around the pier pilings. Some spot in May/early June. Probably the best time is May for most fish and fish species. Check out the Sea View Pier at North Topsail Beach. Only three piers on the island now.
