quick and easy recipe for a snowy day.
top round or sirloin steak
boil until tender (save broth)
if broth is too fat you can put
in fridge and fat will come to top.
put broth and a can of unsalted beef
broth in your pot. cut beef into small
pieces, cut potatoes into small pieces.
cut up an onion put in. put some frozen
peas and carrots in. season. simmer.
for thickening i use (cold water) and
flour. turn up heat and add flour and water
keep stirring until your desired thickness.
add gravy master last. (comes in a little
dark brown bottle) a little goes a long way.
may have to ask employee to find it.
at home we called it Hash. but you can't
smoke it. just eat it.
