mine is about the same except i put the sinker on the line first and then the swivel and use it as the stop. everything i've read says to put those red beads on also. i'm going to order some of them and try them like you said. i have caught some flounder on my rig. the trick for me was to get the correct amount of weight on to drift slow so it didn't work you to death.
my ponds been frozen over almost all winter. i'm ready for some better weather. can't get anything done. snowed 3 inches last night. thanks and eat something good.
