We stay on the causeway in MAY right across from the Kitty Hawk kites new building. We have a canal and can paddle out around and under the Little Bridge, providing no one is fishing. If I see guys with surf rods on the bridge I just paddle through around them. LOL Close to the bank and then hit the islands south of the bridge. I dont think I'm paddling to Bodie from Pirates Cove Thats a looooong trip.
