Packed up and headed home on Sunday. Planned on getting in a few more casts Sunday morning at sun up before leaving but the weather changed on me. The man was predicting winds out of the NNE at 9 for Sunday morning and by the time Sunday actually arrived he was saying ENE at 22. Low tide was at 5am so we packed up our stuff as soon and we could. If I had left an hour later I would have been stuck there for hours. Hit a nice bump on the way out that knocked out my stability sensor. I'm going to have to see if I can figure that out before going to the dealer.
Saw one of those AWD cars stuck in the sand on my way out. Nobody in or around the car. Tide was coming up. Saw in places where the surf had been up to the dunes overnight and the wind was supposed to pick up during the day. Sure hope they got out.
