Friday was a better day weather wise. Wind settled down a bit and conditions looked real good. A friend of mine was catching nice sea mullet and a few spot. I put the spot on the long rods but nothing interested. At the end of the day with a small cooler of sea mullet so had a nice fish fry for dinner.

Heard rain on the windows Saturday morning and couldn’t roll myself out of bed. I went back out after the rain quit around 9 am. Managed a few more smaller mullet and spot. Wind picked up and the rain chased me off the beach after about two hours. Rained the rest of the day and I finished some repairs at the house. Was good to have some help.

Only drum reported caught were at night or at first light. No slot drum seemed to be around. Nice long weekend.
