Thanks a bunch for the information. Exactly what I was looking for in regards to places. Surf fishing is certainly something I want to give a try. Any suggestions on reel size, rod length for surf casting? Also I have heard that mono line may be preferred over braid due to it being less like to tangle/cut someone else's line. Any credence to that? I would have assumed to use braid so you can get more on the spool. Again, any advice is appreciated.
