i'm sure the large mouth bass put a hurting on them too. the amount i stocked i'll say about 30 percent didn't get eaten by the bass. there are crayfish (crawfish) in my ponds, i'll bet there is some in yours too. now that i have some time i'm going to try some new things. frogs, flat head minnows, etc. the snails i put in are kinda like oysters in saltwater. they look like little castles about 2 inches tall.
