got about a foot. calling for another 3 to 5 inches tonight. next week lows in the single digits,BURRR!
when i was growing up there was a pond behind my house.
i would take those smallest i could get gold salmon egg hooks and put a little piece of worm on them. would fish real close to bank and catch the smallest bluegill i could get. hook him just below the top fin and toss him out. those large mouth would pick them up and take off with them. i would let them go just long enough to tighten the line, would hook them in corner of mouth everytime. never kept any, always put them back.
