Fall Fishing

If the weather holds out, looks like I'll be heading down for my Fall Fishing Trip the week of October 24th. This is the latest time of year I've ever fished in the Fall and wanted to get some information on where to fish this time of year. More than likely I'll be staying in the Rodanthe area, but looking at some places in Frisco as well. I've typically fished on the beaches between Rodanthe and Avon earlier in the Fall and had some decent success but as it gets later in the year, does it make sense to fish further south or on the south facing beaches? I love just being there this time of year and Red Drum is my ultimate goal, but I have a bunch of new fisherman coming this year and the Point is not the place to take these guys. I would appreciate some ideas. I hope all is well with everyone.
