Early Fall Fishing

Day to day would be different but the fall run is probably starting up there also the finger mullet if so you will see those in the surf.
I'd pay for the fishing to clean fish at the pier from there during this time would be all stares some comments you didn't catch those here.
A wind coming from a northerly direction like northeast is usually the best if from the south it tends to be summer fish like smaller size.
I suggest fresh or frozen finger mullet from the tackle shops cut in chunks, halves or fillets because the fish can get picky for only them.
The best lures during that time are white or natural looking for brands of metal minnows or try slow jigging a Bass Assassin or white bucktail.
If it's not windy and the ocean is kind of calm fishing the muddy spots caused by the waves with a Mirrolure can be good, best early or evening.
Watch the water you can see the big trout rolling on the surface making them jump sometimes all the way up and down the beach it's a sight to see.
