years ago everybody used corn and salmon eggs. my grand pappy used to put salt on the eggs, said it made them stay on the hook. love to fish for native brook. the biggest one I ever caught was 11 inches in the Shenandoah national park on a tiny worm. I got above the hole and put my bait on a leaf and drifted it to the hole and gently pulled it off. mostly caught fish 6 to 8 inches. miss those days. stay safe and catch some fish.
