My Beach Week

Well I had one nice warm day then a winter day with sleet and another good day before Dorian 2 hit. Kitty Hawk lost power for awhile.
Salt on the the power lines kept blowing the transformers sounded like fireworks going off. Northern Hatteras Island got it the worst.
No ocean flooding in my area and the sound was blown out over on Bay Drive had a lot of RVs parked at houses over there for some reason.
A lot of places were closed, biggest crowds I saw were at Outback Steakhouse, Captain George's, Henry's and the movie theater was full.

No fishing I had work to do at the castle but did see people fishing from the little bridge on the Nags Head Causeway coming and going.
Traffic was still bad at the beach with a lot of small business trucks about not bad traveling there except for in the Raleigh Durham area.
Best bathroom stops was the state run rest area right beside the bridge in Columbia and the Sheetz gas station in Nashville for being clean.
Top worst ever was the Sheetz in Zebulon, it had a mustard trail on the floor with dead roaches smashed flat where people had stepped on them.
