I use the 15 pound green Big Game, it does a 4 oz size sinker fine without a shock leader but 5 oz you have to take it easy throwing.

You can drop down an oz with a storm sinker or can use satellite sinkers. I go by if the waves are breaking out 200 yards don't bother.

Sufix Tritanium line is another good one but not their other lines and braid will wear grooves into the line guides, expensive to redo.

Also will cut your finger if you don't use a leather finger glove. Stren was the best when Dupont made it, I have not tried any in awhile.
