There's a bigger drum crowd that fish at the point in Buxton (south or southwest wind) and off the end of Avon Pier (northeast wind).

They like the small trout holes in your area (northeast wind). The fall run starts north and moves south so north is better earlier.

Some will be moving out of the sound. Also the Gull Island area (evening) is another place to try, the sound access near Ramp 27.

It's not always so with fishing but helps.
