For me it has been based on true time of the year. 1 fall we stayed South Nags area and I had the best speckled trout fishing I’ve ever had. Every morning and evening the surf was loaded. This time of year was late September. Then if big Red fishing it’s 3rd weekend of October till weather sucks from Avon to Buxton.
